For our Yoga Vacation program, you can choose flexible dates between the 3rd and 27th, from Sunday to Sunday (1-week duration).
Q3. I would like to have some information about the courses in Ashtanga Yoga. Is there a prerequisite to apply?

For the 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program, students must have completed a 200-Hour YTTC.
The 500-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course can be joined directly by anyone, with no prior course required.
Q4. I am new to Yoga, and I have not taken any formal training in Yoga. Can I take this teacher training?
Yes — beginners are warmly welcome! You can join the 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course or our Yoga Vacation programs. The 200 hours yoga teacher training program with 26 day beginner Yoga TTC and 1-week Yoga Vacation are specially designed to accommodate new practitioners and support a smooth start to your Ashtanga Yoga journey.
Q5. I am a beginner in Yoga. Is the course suitable for me?
Ans. Absolutely — for instance, the 200 hour yoga teacher training is structured for all levels, including beginners, to help deepen practice, learn ashtanga yoga asanas, pranayama, alignment, etc.
Q6. Do you offer teacher training in your shala?
Yes — our shala offers 100-Hour, 200-Hour, 300-Hour, and 500-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Courses (TTCs). These programs provide full certification to become a Vinyasa Yoga or Ashtanga Yoga teacher.
Q7. Who can join the Yoga Teacher Training course?
Anyone motivated to deepen their yoga practice and become a skilled yoga teacher can join! Programs like the 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training and 500-Hour Yoga TTC are open to practitioners of all levels.
Our courses teach posture correction, yoga teaching methodology, pranayama, yoga techniques, alignment sessions, anatomy, and Patanjali Sutras. This helps you improve your own practice and equips you to confidently teach others in the future.
Q8. Do I need to have prior Yoga experience to join a TTC program?
Ans. The shala warmly welcomes beginners to programs like Mysore yoga teacher training and yoga teacher training, guiding you step by step from the basics, including ashtanga yoga asanas and foundational yoga theory.
Q9. What are the differences between the Ashtanga and Hatha Teacher Training programs?
We offer the best Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training school, which focuses on dynamic, flowing sequences (Vinyasa style), building strength, flexibility, and stamina, while emphasizing traditional Mysore-style practice.
The Hatha Yoga Teacher Training is slower-paced, focusing on posture alignment, breath control, meditation, and foundational yoga principles.
Both programs cover posture correction, anatomy, pranayama, and yoga teaching methodology, but the approach and style differ to suit your learning goals and teaching preferences.
Q10. Will I be ready to teach Yoga after completing the TTC?
Ans. Yes — after completing a certified TTC (such as the 200 hour yoga certification or 500 hour yoga training), you receive a certificate recognized by Yoga Alliance, which equips you to teach both as a vinyasa yoga teacher or Ashtanga teacher.
Q11. Can I join the Yoga Teacher Training only to deepen my practice, not to teach?
Ans. Absolutely — many enroll in a TTC simply to deepen their practice in ashtanga yoga asanas, pranayama, philosophy, without the intention of teaching; the experience works both for practitioners and future teachers.
Q12. Can I do just one week of training?
Yes — we offer a 1-week Yoga Teacher Training program (50 hours) as a short, immersive experience for those who cannot commit to a full TTC. If you wish, you can continue the next month for another week (50 hours).
Please note that certification is only provided upon completing the full 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course. The 1-week program is ideal for practicing, learning, and experiencing yoga training in a shorter timeframe.
Q13. How many students are in each batch?
Each batch is limited to only 12 students to ensure personal attention and high-quality guidance. Whether you join the 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training or the 500-Hour Yoga TTC, you will receive focused support from our experienced teachers.
Q14. How do I prepare for a TTC?
Preparing for your Yoga Teacher Training Course is an exciting opportunity to deepen your practice. Maintain a regular yoga routine, explore Ashtanga Yoga asanas, practice pranayama, and learn basic yoga philosophy to make your TTC or spiritual vacation more rewarding.
If you are a beginner, start with daily walking for 30 minutes and simple stretching — that’s more than enough to get started.
Q15. How should I prepare physically before the training?
To prepare physically for your Yoga Teacher Training, gradually increase your flexibility with simple asanas. If you’re a beginner, start with 20–30 minutes of daily walking. Build strength and endurance through consistent yoga practice, and consider attending drop-in classes to get accustomed to the physical demands of long daily sessions.
Q16. Any suggested readings?
Ans. However, familiarizing yourself with foundational yoga texts can be beneficial.
Q17. When should I arrive for the training program ?
Ans. For programs like the 100-hour, 200-hour TTC or workshops that begin on the 3rd of the month, participants are expected to arrive on the 2nd day of the attending month
Q18. Can I stay for a few more days after the workshop is completed? If so, what is the cost?
Ans. Extended stays are possible, but details are best confirmed directly with the shala. This ensures that you can plan your yoga vacation or spiritual vacation comfortably while arranging any additional accommodations.
Q19. Is it possible to take Ashtanga lessons from you for one week at a time? My schedule is unpredictable. I prefer to commit to daily lessons for one week at a time.
Ans. Yes — there is a one week yoga teacher training / vacation-course option in which you can take daily practice, Ashtanga lessons, alignment, and pranayama for that week.
Q25. After paying the registration fee, when should I pay the remaining balance?
